Featured Brewery: Pretty Things Beer and Ale Project

Pretty Things Beer & Ale Project is a creative, Somerville-based venture that began in December 2008. Dann and Martha Paquette brew our beers in other people’s breweries.

The beers are inspired by Europe, by people and places we’ve been, and by history; they all have a story behind them. We draw our own labels and dream up beers which are intended to be fun, inspiring and interesting. Nowadays we are an enormous company of four (yes, four!) people and we are having a great time brewing and selling our beers. Dann & Martha brew all our beer together, and Anya and Jim are out and about having fun in MA and NY.

In 2011, we won Best of Boston for Locally Made Beer (awarded by Boston magazine). We were very honored! We also launched our new website at www.prettythingsbeertoday.com.

If you haven’t tried our beers before, you can find them in 22oz bottles in most good beer stores. We are also available in quite a few bars and restaurants throughout MA, RI, NY and Eastern PA. Thank you for drinking our beers!
