Massachusetts
Craft Brewers Frühlingsfest

Saturday, April 18, 2026

Come celebrate with us and enjoy all the fun and flavor Frühlingsfest has to offer - prost!

Spring is coming—and with it, a brand-new celebration from the Mass Brewers Guild. Inspired by Germany’s beloved Frühlingsfest—Oktoberfest’s lively, easygoing “little sister”—we’re bringing the spirit of Munich and Stuttgart to Boston for a one-day festival bursting with energy, flavor, and community.

Under the soaring dome skylight of the BCA Cyclorama, you’ll step into a vibrant spring festival filled with fresh, seasonal craft beer, German-inspired offerings, live music, and the joyful, relaxed atmosphere that defines Frühlingsfest abroad.

This spring tradition in Germany celebrates renewal, community, and local pride—and that’s exactly what we’re channeling in Boston: a welcoming festival where creativity, craft, and good cheer come together in one unforgettable experience.

Join 40+ strong Massachusetts craft brewers and beer lovers from across the state for a day of discovery, flavor, and fun.

Special thanks to our presenting sponsor, Allen Craft Beverage Insurance, whose support—along with Evently—makes this event possible. Additional support provided by BMI, Brewing Massachusetts, Neighbors for Net Zero, Renewal by Andersen, Tuck Life, and Walden Mutual Bank.

Session 1: 1 – 4 P.M.
Session 2: 5 – 8 P.M.

Two Sessions:

Discover more than 40 Massachusetts craft breweries, pouring their finest beers along with a limited number of kombucha, seltzers and ciders (this is first and foremost a beer festival). This is a celebration of independence, artistry, and the vibrant brewing culture that thrives across Massachusetts.

WHAT’S ON TAP?

Every sip supports the Mass Brewers Guild, the nonprofit working to protect and promote our craft breweries. Frühlingsfest isn’t just a party—it’s an opportunity to uplift the community that keeps Massachusetts beer innovative, independent, and world-class.

  • Arlington Brewing Company

Spy-P-A, New England IPA, 6.60% - Citra and Mosaic hops take center stage in this juicy citrus extravaganza that your nose will recognize from across the room. Saving all the hops for post-boil addition, either in the whirlpool or via dry-hopping, results in an intense aroma of grapefruit and tangerine while leaving all the bitterness behind. It’s bright, refreshing and we can’t stop taking sip after sip.

Menotomator Double Bock, 8.30% - Menotomator is a rich, bold, dark lager brewed to celebrate the brave souls who answered the call of liberty on the first day of the American Revolution. Bike Path, Pale Ale, 5.50% — Cascade hops balance a golden malt backbone and create a beer that’s right in the sweet spot. The ingredients are simple but they really shine in this recipe, which uses ultra-local Arlington grown hops in the whirlpool. You may have seen us on the bike path harvesting hops for this beer!

Herring Run, Hefeweizen, 5.20% - Named after the annual spring migration up the Mystic River and into Mill Brook, this beer hits the spot when the days are lengthening and the weather starts to warm up.
